Mrs. Stanton graduated from the University of North Texas in 2003 with a bachelor’s degree in General, Choral, and Instrumental Music and a minor in Education. While in college, she had the opportunity to travel to the Czech Republic with other music students. They visited schools in Brno and got to perform  "On My Own" from  Les Miserables, an unforgettable experience! After graduating, she taught part-time in Arlington ISD for a year. She has been teaching Music at SEAS since 2004.  At home, she enjoys reading and has two beautiful daughters with her husband, Paul.
