Sr. Marie Nguyen is a member of Congregation of Mary Queen, American Region. This is her fourth year living in Dallas, Texas and her first year serving at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton.
She earned A. A. Degree in Early Childhood Development at Ozarks Technical Community College and B. S. in Child and Family Development in Missouri State University, both in Springfield, Missouri. Through her life journey, she has served as teacher, substitute, and shelter advocate in school, childcare for children with homeless families, and domestic violence shelter. Sr. Marie’s passion is teaching, nurturing, and sharing faith with students. She believes wherever she serves, whatever she does, she has to be “an ambassador for Christ” to others (2 Corinthians 5: 20). In her spare time, she likes to work in the garden, recycle anything and everything, and find sources to teach her faith formation class.
