Niamh McCann is the 5th and 6th grade history teacher and she is excited to be here at SEAS for her first year. She attended Trivium School in Lancaster, MA, which was one of the first catholic classical liberal arts high schools to be founded in the United States. Niamh has a B.A. in Classical Liberal Arts from Thomas Aquinas College, where she was a member of the
first graduating class from the college’s New England campus. Throughout her years in college, she worked in TAC’s office of admissions, helping to introduce families to classical liberal arts education at the college level. She is looking forward to taking everything she has learned and bringing it to her fifth and sixth grade students this year.

Niamh grew up in New England and this is her first time living in Texas. In her free time she enjoys reading, baking, and exploring antique stores and farmer’s markets.
