Denise Barela is excited to begin her first year at SEAS, bringing seven years of experience teaching grades 4-7. She earned her degree from The University of New Mexico. Originally from New Mexico, she and her husband moved to Austin, TX to raise their family and relocated to the DFW area a few years ago. 

Mrs. Barela and her family are parishioners at St. Mark Catholic Church and have a deep love for their faith. Outside of teaching, Mrs. Barela loves spending time with family, volunteering, antiquing, shopping, and traveling. She is thrilled to be part of the SEAS community and looks forward to an amazing school year ahead.
