Brandy Cope earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Briar Cliff University and her Master of Music and Doctor of Musical Arts degrees from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Dr. Cope’s dissertation research combined her love of music theory and unaccompanied oboe repertoire. She has played with the Lincoln Symphony Orchestra and has also held the position of principal oboe with the Northwest Iowa Symphony Orchestra. She has always felt that her musical talents were given to her by God for the purpose of uplifting and encouraging those around her.
