Amanda Lee is the art teacher for St. Elizabeth Ann Seton. After graduating from Lawrence High School with Honors, she attended the University of Kansas Art School and played on the KU’s Volleyball Club team. In 2001, she received her Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree focusing on Painting and Printmaking and received awards for KU juried art shows. Post graduation she had gallery showings of her art, and taught art classes to kids and adults.
In 2003, she moved to Fort Worth, Texas where she taught private art lessons. Amanda and her husband Brian have two children attending SEAS. In 2014, Amanda returned to teaching as a substitute for Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton and in 2015-18 was at Fort Worth ISD’s Visual and Performing Arts Academy teaching Advanced Art and Photography. In 2018, she came to teach PE second semester at SEAS, and in 2020 she moved into the Art teacher position.
