Abigail Lyons was raised in Tempe, Arizona where she attended a classical Great Hearts school. After graduating, she decided to continue her education in the classical liberal arts fashion, choosing to attend the University of Dallas. While there, she was fortunate to study in Rome for a semester traversing Europe, and graduated in 2020 with her Bachelor's in Classics (Latin) and a concentration in Ancient Greek. She stayed on for another year, earning her Master's in Teaching as well. This has been her 4th year teaching Latin at SEAS, and she absolutely loves keeping the language alive here. In her free time, Magistra Lyons enjoys playing volleyball, reading great books, and learning Italian!
