Religion

·         To understand that the Church is “the people of God” on earth and is the sign of God’s presence in the world today

·         To acquire knowledge of the doctrines of the Church in an age appropriate manner

·         To develop an appreciation of and participation in the liturgical and sacramental life of the Church

·         To develop an appreciation of the Scriptures as God’s inspired word

·         To form their conscience according to the teachings of Scripture, Jesus, and the church, so that they can make correct moral decisions
